Articles: write with AI and publish on your site

Who this is for: you want to publish SEO articles regularly on your site without spending two hours per article. GMB Club generates the content with AI, computes an SEO score, and sends it to your site — whether it's WordPress, Wix, PrestaShop, Shopify, or your own platform connected via our public API.

What you'll see: connect your site (WordPress, Wix, PrestaShop, Shopify or custom integration), create an article (AI Writing or manual writing), use "Find inspiration" to discover high-potential Google topics, enable Auto-Pilot Articles, and read your SEO Score.

Prerequisite: connect your site

The Blog & SEO module can send your articles to your site in five ways:

WordPress (via the GMB Club Connect plugin)

1. On your WordPress site as admin, install the free "GMB Club Connect" plugin from Plugins › Add New (published on WordPress.org) or download the ZIP from your bubble in GMB Club.
2. Activate the plugin. A notice shows up with a pairing code to copy.
3. Go back to GMB Club → "Settings" › "Website connection".
4. Paste the pairing code and validate.

The site then shows up in the "Website" section of the dashboard and the Blog & SEO page becomes usable. Once connected, GMB Club can publish your SEO articles and display your Google reviews on your site.

Wix (direct connection from GMB Club)

The Wix integration is set up directly from GMB Club via OAuth, without going through the Wix App Market.

1. In GMB Club → "Settings" › "Website connection".
2. Click the "Connect my Wix site" button.
3. You're redirected to your Wix account → pick the site → authorize the requested permissions.
4. The connection is instant, the Wix site shows up in GMB Club, ready to publish SEO articles and display your Google reviews.

PrestaShop (via the GMB Club Connect module)

PrestaShop has no native blog: the "GMB Club Connect" module ships its own blog (article pages, Schema.org SEO markup, category system) and can also display your Google reviews on the store.

Compatibility: PrestaShop 1.7.6 → 9.x (tested on 9.0.3), PHP 7.4+. The module isn't on the PrestaShop Addons marketplace: it's a private zip you install via the back office.

1. Download the module: gmbclubconnect.zip (don't unzip it).
2. In the PrestaShop back office → "Modules" › "Module Manager" › "Upload a module" → drop the zip. The module installs itself.
3. Open the configuration of the "GMB Club Connect" module: you'll see an API key and your store URL.
4. In GMB Club → "Settings" › "Website connection" → PrestaShop section → paste the URL + the key. You can also let the module push its key on its own via the "Send key to GMB Club" button.
5. Clear the PrestaShop cache ("Advanced Parameters" › "Performance").

Article publishing: once connected, your articles published from GMB Club show up in the module's blog, at a URL like yourstore.com/blog/12-article-title (the /blog/ URL prefix is configurable in the module's settings), with SEO title, meta description and Schema.org Article markup.

Blog categories: manage them from the module's settings ("Blog categories" section) — create, rename, delete. They sync back to GMB Club and become selectable when creating an article, with a dedicated archive page per category.

Display your Google reviews on the store (optional): in GMB Club → "Settings" › "API Keys", generate a read key. Paste it into the module's settings ("Reviews widget" section), pick the format (carousel or list), the number of reviews and the minimum rating. The block shows on the homepage, anywhere via an iframe https://app.gmb-club.com/api/embed/reviews?api_key=..., or as a floating badge.

Shopify (direct connection from GMB Club)

The Shopify integration is set up directly from GMB Club via OAuth, without going through the Shopify App Store.

1. In GMB Club → "Settings" › "Website connection".
2. Click the "Connect my Shopify store" button.
3. You're redirected to your Shopify account → pick your store → authorize the requested permissions.
4. The connection is instant, the Shopify store shows up in GMB Club, ready to publish SEO articles and display your Google reviews.

Custom CMS or other site builder (via the API)

If you use neither WordPress, nor Wix, nor PrestaShop, nor Shopify (custom-built site, Webflow, headless CMS, etc.), you can generate your articles in GMB Club and fetch them on your site via our public API:

• In GMB Club → "Settings" › "API Keys", generate a key with the right permissions.
• On your site, your integration queries GET /api/v2/articles (with the X-API-Key: <your-key> header) to fetch the list of articles, then GET /api/v2/articles/{id} for the full content (HTML + SEO metadata).
• Optional but recommended: after displaying an article in the DOM, call POST /api/v2/articles/{id}/confirm so it shows as "confirmed" on the GMB Club side (useful for publication tracking).

In this mode, GMB Club acts as the writing workshop and your site as the storefront — the final rendering stays on your CMS.

Overview of the Blog & SEO page

From the Dashboard → "SEO Articles" card (orange document icon), or via the navigation Website › Articles.

Case 1 — Write a single article

Click the orange "Write" button in the top right. The "New Article" modal opens:

Choose the mode

Two tabs at the top of the modal:

• "AI Writing" (default) — the AI writes the full article for you from the title and keyword
• "Write it myself" — you write the article in the editor, the AI helps you occasionally

AI Writing mode — the fields

Click "Generate article" (orange button at the bottom). A progress bar appears with these steps:

1. "Initialization"
2. "AI Writing" (long text, ~700-1500 words)
3. "SEO Optimization" (meta description, Hn tags, image alt)
4. "Visual Generation" (if you chose AI for the image)
5. "Finalization" (sending to your connected site, or making it available via the API)

Count 30s to 2min depending on length. The article appears in the calendar with the status "Draft", "Ready to publish", or "Scheduled" based on your setting.

Write it myself mode

Switch to the "Write it myself" tab. You access a rich editor (H1/H2/H3 headings, bold/italic, lists, images, quotes). You write your article. You can occasionally use the AI to:

• Reformulate a paragraph (select, right-click, Improve)
• Generate an outline
• Suggest an intro/conclusion

At the end: configure scheduling + click "Save" or "Schedule".

Case 2 — Use "AI Ideas" to find topics

In the "AI Ideas" panel on the right, you see pre-generated topics. For each idea:

• The title (e.g.: "The best vegetable cooking techniques")
• A tag with the associated keyword (e.g.: vegetable cooking techniques)
• The estimated monthly search potential (e.g.: 1.8K)
• The difficulty score (e.g.: 32 — between 0 and 100, the lower the easier to rank)
• A "Create article" button that pre-fills the New Article modal with this title and keyword

Generate new ideas

Click the "+ Generate" button at the top right of the panel. The "Find inspiration" modal opens:

Click "Generate ideas". In 10-20s, 5 new ideas appear in the AI Ideas panel.

Practical tip: generate ideas once a month, based on your business (bubble description). You build up a bank of 20-30 topics to publish. You can then pick from it either manually ("Create article"), or via Auto-Pilot.

Case 3 — Auto-Pilot Articles (automatic recurring publishing)

To publish 1 article a week without any input, click "Auto-Pilot" (orange) next to the Write button. The "Auto-Pilot" modal opens:

At the top, a counter shows your monthly consumption (e.g.: 0 / 4 — 4 articles maximum per month on your plan).

Configure Auto-Pilot

The dynamic counter at the bottom ("1 article will be published every Tuesday in May") shows you how many articles will be created. You confirm by clicking "Generate X articles" (full-width orange button).

Tracking Auto-Pilot articles

Once launched, the articles appear in the calendar with these statuses over time:

You stay in control: every Auto-Pilot article can be edited before publishing. Click an article in the calendar → you see its generated content → "Edit" button → you adjust the text, title, image, or you cancel publishing.

Read and improve the SEO Score

On every article (Write it myself OR AI-generated), GMB Club computes an automatic SEO Score.

The score (out of 100) aggregates 5 dimensions:

Levels: Excellent, Good, Average score, Low score.

And a competition difficulty level: Easy, Medium, Hard.

For each weak dimension, you get precise Recommendations (e.g.: "The keyword only appears 2 times in the body. Aim for 5-8 occurrences."). You can click "Recalculate score" after every change to see if you're improving.

Good habit: aim for 70+ before publishing. Below that, rework the content. Above 85, you can consider the article ready to perform on Google.

List view (instead of Calendar)

Click the "List" tab (next to Calendar). You get a tabular view of all your articles:

• Featured image thumbnail
• Title + main keyword
• Status (colored badge: Draft, Ready, Published, Failed)
• Publish date
• Actions: Edit, Publish now, Delete

Useful for managing a large volume of articles or sorting by status.

Common issues

"Site: Not connected" → No publishing channel is set up. Go to Settings › Website connection and pick your platform (WordPress, Wix, PrestaShop, Shopify), or Settings › API Keys if you use a custom CMS (see the Prerequisite section at the top of this page).

The article was generated but it doesn't show up on my site → Check: (1) is the status in GMB Club Published? If Draft, you need to publish it manually from your CMS. (2) If you use the GMB Club Connect plugin/module (WordPress or PrestaShop), make sure it's up to date and still paired, and — for PrestaShop — clear the cache (Advanced Parameters › Performance). (3) If you're on Wix or Shopify, check that the OAuth connection is still active in Settings › Website connection (an expired OAuth shows a "Reconnect" button). (4) If you go through the API, check that your integration on your site is actually calling GET /api/v2/articles with the right key. (5) Is there an error on the GMB Club side? Hover the Failed status to see details.

The AI wrote nonsense about my business → You haven't filled in the sphere description. The AI relies first on this field to understand your business. Go to Sphere settings › General › Description and write 4-6 precise lines. Regenerate the article.

My SEO Score stays low even after fixes → The score is computed strictly. Check the detailed Recommendations (high-impact areas are tagged High priority). If the keyword is too competitive (Hard difficulty), even an excellent article will struggle to rank.

Auto-Pilot generated 0 articles → Typical cause: (1) the month is already over, (2) no day selected, (3) quota reached (X / 4). Check these 3 points in the config.

How many articles should I publish per month for SEO? → 2-4 quality articles per month is better than 30 rushed ones. Auto-Pilot with 1 article/week and a well-chosen keyword every time is an excellent rhythm.

Can I publish on several sites from a single sphere? → Yes, one site per bubble (WordPress, Wix, PrestaShop, Shopify or API integration). If your sphere has 5 bubbles, you can connect 5 different sites — one per location. The Blog & SEO calendar is specific to each bubble (switch bubbles via the selector at the top).

I want my articles to be published on my custom site (no WordPress, no Wix, no PrestaShop), is that possible? → Yes — that's the Custom CMS path in the Prerequisite section: you generate your articles in GMB Club, and your site fetches them via the public API GET /api/v2/articles. You can also call POST /api/v2/articles/{id}/confirm after displaying them so they show as "confirmed" in GMB Club. Full documentation on gmb-club.com/api-docs.

How to connect Shopify? → Go to GMB Club → "Settings" › "Website connection", click "Connect my Shopify store", authorize the OAuth connection from your Shopify account. The connection is instant, without going through the Shopify App Store. You can then publish your articles and display your Google reviews on your store.
